Spotlight: Five-time chase winner in France, the latest a valuable handicap at Auteuil (2m6f, heavy) in March; untested at 3m and further but this 6yo has been acquired by very shrewd connections and he could have a big part to play on his stable debut, especially if strong in the betting.

Spotlight: Won the La Touche Cup Cross Country Chase at Punchestown (4m1f, good to yielding) in May and he's of interest on that form; however, he hasn't really shone on three previous attempts over this C&D and was below par when back on Punchestown's banks course last time; wears a first-time visor.

Spotlight: Very hard to win with, being 0-17 over fences; however, he's been runner-up in nine of those races, including in this contest last year and on last month's reappearance here; versatile ground-wise; could be thereabouts.

Spotlight: Won this in 2023 and third in it last season, then went on to finish second at the Festival; this 12yo was well beaten on last month's return here but could well be a different proposition now back over these obstacles.

Spotlight: 9yo who hasn't won since August 2023 but went close in the Ulster National (extended 3m4f, good) in March and he's twice finished third on Punchestown's banks course since; he's one to be interested in.

Spotlight: Unseated on previous run over C&D (albeit short of room) and jinked right and refused at Compiegne last month, so there are risks attached; however, he's shown good form in cross-country races in France previously and David Cottin has enjoyed success over C&D in the past; one of two for yard.

Spotlight: Below par at Fontwell last time and this is his cross-country debut; however, he ran well over regulation fences here (3m1f, good to soft) two starts ago and has the same mark as when winning the Southern National at Fontwell (extended 3m3f, good) last November; not discounted.

Spotlight: Won a conditions chase at Down Royal (3m2f, good) in March and ran pretty well when fifth of 15 in the Porterstown Handicap at Fairyhouse (3m6f, yielding to soft) 12 days ago; however, there's a suspicion this 10yo is on a tough mark; makes cross-country debut.

Spotlight: Made all at Kilbeggan (3m1f, good) in July and fourth of 22 in the Galway Plate (2m6f, good) later that month when last seen; ran well when fifth of 20 in the bet365 Gold Cup over an extended 3m4f at Sandown in April 2024 and he goes well fresh; could make a bold bid in his first cross-country race.

Spotlight: Multiple winner on the continent, including two Listed chases in France in 2022 and 2023; however, he hasn't been at the very top of his game this year and he'll need to be today.

Spotlight: Two wins at Perth (3m, good) this season and he took well to this course last November, but he didn't quite see out the trip and there is the same concern for this 10yo today.

Spotlight: Very well handicapped on his old form and showed some spark towards the end of last season; however, that's not been the case of late and this 10yo was pulled up at Exeter only last Friday; hard to fancy.

Spotlight: Has won at up to 3m7f and he's well handicapped on form as recent as last October but this 10yo has struggled to get competitive since and needs to turn things around.

Spotlight: Won on the banks course at Punchestown in May but pulled up in cross-country races on next two starts and this 13yo was tailed off on his sole previous visit here; others make greater appeal.
